Chief magistrate William Thomas is once again offering his free Valentine’s Day wedding services on Sunday, Feb. 14. from 1-5 p.m. Weddings will be performed on a first-come, first served basis. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 770-358-5154. Couples wishing to wed must acquire a marriage license from probate court during normal business hours prior to getting hitched. Flowers will be provided by Maxine Gibson of Goggans Florist. Light refreshments will be served. Magistrate court staffers will take digital photos for newlyweds. ’This is not about me or the court. This is about making sure kids have committed, married parents in the home,’ Judge Thomas said.
