Former Georgia wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, who is also a published author and accomplished reading coach, will keynote a Georgia Reads event here on Friday, May 16. The day will begin with a student assembly at the fine arts center at 9 a.m.
That will be followed by a community event at the primary school which includes brunch and a meet and greet followed by remarks by Mitchell and others and the presentation of a check.
