A Barnesville man has been arrested for allegedly leaving a pit bull chained to a porch after he moved from the residence. The emaciated dog was found alive but later died of malnutrition. Jamarris Latuan Williams, 20, is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and abandoning a dog. Sheriff’s investigator Lara Clark said the dog was very friendly and much loved by trustees at the jail who cared for it prior to its death.
