A man called for medical assistance after claiming he was assaulted Tuesday afternoon on Mill Street in Barnesville. Dozens of people were aimlessly milling around in the area adjacent to and across from the BPD headquarters when the incident occurred just before 3 p.m. The man’s injuries did not appear serious.
