An unidentified driver drove an older model Ford Ranger through a building late Saturday night on Veterans Parkway. The man was northbound on the four-lane when he left the roadway at Grove Street, flew over a fire hydrant, accelerated through the parking lot of an industrial building and through the wall of the Saylor building near the new Farm Supply facility which is under construction. The driver was unhurt and sat calmly on a curb as first responders scrambled to cut off water and electricty to the damaged building.
