A 52-year old Culloden man was killed in an industrial accident Friday night at the Jordan Lumber plant in the local industrial park. Lamar coroner Jim Smith identified the dead man as Thomas Grantham of 100 Norwood Street in Culloden. Grantham’s body was taken to the state crime lab for autopsy and routine toxicology testing, Smith added. The coroner said Grantham was walking between two stacks of lumber when a forklift driver “closed the gap” between the two stacks and Grantham was crushed. Breedlove Memorial Chapel will have charge of arrangements.
