A man was lifeflighted to the Navicent Health trauma unit in Macon Tuesday night after he was injured in a dirt bike crash on Mill Street. An LZ was established in a vacant lot at the corner of Grove Street and Veterans Parkway. The chopper left the scene just before 9 p.m. UPDATE: the man on the bike, Austin Dietz, was not wearing a helmet. He was reported as in good condition at Navicent Wednesday afternoon.
