Man lifeflighted after work truck crash

By Cade Lancaster The driver of an Isuzu work truck lost control of his vehicle on McKneely Road and was seriously injured Tuesday night. ”The vehicle was traveling down McKneely Road towards Morgan Dairy Road when it exited the roadway, hit a telephone pole and then several trees at about 9:15 p.m. The driver was LifeFlighted to Atlanta Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time,” senior trooper Dawson of the Georgia State Patrol said at the scene. The driver had to be cut out of his truck. He was taken by ambulance to nearby Morgan Dairy Golf Club where a landing zone for the medical evacuation helicopter had been set up by firefighters and other emergency personnel. More to follow…
