An Upson County man miraculously survived driving his car underneath a moving sand truck at the intersection of College Drive and Veterans Parkway in Barnesville Tuesday afternoon. The unidentified man was turning south onto the four lane from College Drive when he drove under the trailer of a sand rig southbound on the four-lane just before 2:30 p.m. The man was briefly trapped in his car but walked away with only very minor injuries. He was checked by paramedics at the scene. The truck driver was unhurt.
