Authorities are not commenting but multiple eyewitnesses are reporting a man was shot by security guards at Horton”s Rendezvous Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Bystanders identified the man as Anthony Scott of Thomaston. That also has not been confirmed. He is reportedly at the Medical Center of Central Georgia after having been lifeflighted from the nightclub. Sheriff Larry Waller has issued a statement on the shooting. It reads as follows: A shooting occurred at Horton’s Rendezvous on Sunday Morning January 22, 2011 at approximately 1:45 am. The case is still under investigation so no further details are being released at this time. Apparently the security guard was not arrested but at least one other person was.
