A woman was stabbed Tuesday afternoon and a manhunt is underway for her assailant. UPDATE: Wilkins remained at large at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Warrants have been taken out on him for aggravated assault. The victim has been released from the hospital. A woman, tentatively identified as Nina Wilson, was stabbed at a home at 231 Washington St. at about 2:30 p.m. Officers are looking for a black male wearing a jersey bluish purple in color with the number 17 on it. If you have more information call 911. UPDATE: The person of interest in the case has been identified as Morris Wilkins. He wast seen in the area of Mathews Street and North College Drive but may have gotten into a vehicle. The victim is expected to recover from her injuries.
