The ensemble will perform ‘Speak No Evil’ by Wayne Shorter, ‘My Funny Valentine,’ Rodgers and Hart and ‘Take the A Train,’ Strayhorn and Ellington. Jazz Night is presented by the Gordon State College Chapter of Brother to Brother and the History Club. Proceeds from ticket sales will help defer the cost of Brother to Brother members attending a national conference in April. ’We are pleased to bring such a talented performer to campus and to be able to also highlight our local campus talent as well,’ said Brother to Brother Chapter President Derious Brown. ‘It’s going to be a very entertaining evening.’
