Mrs. Margaret Louise Tidwell Dix, age 82, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice.
Margaret was born on Thursday, April 25, 1940, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Eugene Clifford Tidwell & the late Christine Worthington. Margaret was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. Margaret loved her grandbabies.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Angela Collier & Sharon Taylor, both of Griffin; grandchildren, Misty Johnson of Macon, Krystal Castillo of Loganville, Jennifer Long of Greenville, Daryl Collier of Griffin, Timmy Boggs of Barnesville; brothers, Thomas Tidwell & Johnny Tidwell, both of Griffin; as well as 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Louise Tidwell Dix will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Charles Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service in Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
