Marvin Allen Yeoman

Marvin Allen Yeoman died Sunday, July 28, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Steinkamp will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Yeoman, the son of the late William Allen Yeoman and Rebecka Butler Yeoman was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Zebulon, Ga. His wife, Mae Lois Thompson Yeoman, his stepchildren, Larry Evan Moore, Terry Wade Moore, Frankey Andrews Peskopos and two nephews preceded him in death. He was a former correctional officer and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. Survivors include his stepchildren, Ronald W. Moore, Donnie (Debra) Moore and Sandy Jackson, all of Forsyth, and Diane Griffin of St. Simons; 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to United Hospice of Macon, 6060 Lake Commons Rd., Macon, Ga., 31220 or to donor’s favorite charity.
