Mary Wilkerson Moreland

Mrs. Mary Lizzie Wilkerson Moreland, age 87, who resided at 108 Lyons St. in Barnesville passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at the Spalding Regional Hospital.The family may be contacted at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at the West Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of Barnesville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Waylon Knight will officiate.Bentley’s Funeral Home of Barnesville, Ga., is in charge of all professional services.Mrs. Moreland is survived by four children: Rosa Lee Smith of Dayton, Ohio, Gertrude World of Griffin, Ga., Bobby Moreland (Maggie) and Willie James Wilkerson of Barnesville, Ga.; a grandchild, she reared as her own, Lakeysha Murphy of Barnesville; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
