A Lamar County jury deliberated for less than an hour Thursday before returning not guilty verdicts on three counts in the Vivian Massey vehicular homicide trial.A six person jury, normal for misdemeanor cases, sided with Massey and her defense team led by Eric Hearn.Her acquittal was the second here in recent months in a homicide by vehicle case.Massey had been charged with running the stop sign at the intersection of Crawford and Johnstonville roads and striking a pickup driven by 67-year-old Pearl Kemp.
