Mattie Pearl Sullivan

Mrs. Mattie Pearl Foster Sullivan affectionately known as “Mat died Monday, April 6, 2015. She was born on January 15,1940 in Monroe County. She was the daughter of the late Otis Foster and Loretta Wright Foster. She was a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by husband, Juluis Sullivan, parents, sons: Henry Sullivan and Lloyd Eleby; sister: Maritta Eleby; brothers: Robert Foster, Jeff Foster and Otis Foster, Jr. Survivors include Carolyn Sullivan (Oscar Williams), Kenny Sullivan, Rommie Sullivan, all of Barnesville; four stepchildren: Gloria Eleby, W.T. Eleby (Lucille) both of Barnesville; Marsha Ann Eleby of Riverdale and Yvonne Eleby of Griffin; three sisters: Emma Smith, Margaret Orchard, both of Barnesville, Barbara Ann Studds of Roberta; two brothers: Joseph Smith (Fannie) of Forsyth, Edward Davis (Pauline) of Barnesville; two sisters-in-law: Geraldine Foster, Cecil Foster of Barnesville; one aunt: Elizabeth Ralls of Culloden; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; devoted friends: Dorothy Jackson, Margaret Cook, Connie Brown, Shelia Goggins, Cecile Goggins and Angie Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Services were held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Orange Grove Baptist. Pastor Lonnie Fletcher officiated. Interment was in Culloden City Cemetery. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
