Update: The COVID 19 pandemic and associated job loss and school closures, has led to an increased need for food aid in Lamar and surrounding counties. To help with that need, Greater Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church is hosting a ‘drive-up food distribution’ today, May 14, 2020 between the hours of 4 – 6 p.m.Lamar County was up to 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and one death as of the 1 p.m. Thursday case count update from DPH.
