A Monroe County jury deliberated less than two hours Thursday before finding David Lewis McGuire guilty on all counts in connection with the murder of his mother, Elaine Brown McGuire.Judge Bill Fears sentenced McGuire to life in prison without possibility of parole. He was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and three counts possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.”Miss Elaine was armed with a cell phone. David McGuire was armed with a .32 caliber revolver. The gun is going to win every time,” chief assistant district attorney Elizabeth Bobbitt told jurors during her closing argument.
