Gary ‘Chief” McIntosh of Lamar County suffered a heart attack Sunday while visiting his injured grandson, Gavin Lance, at Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta. Lance is recuperating from a brain injury suffered in a traffic accident. McIntosh is in CCU at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
