A Meansville resident died in a fatal car wreck in the early morning Friday, May 25 on Thompson Road in Upson County. Kenneth Doyle Gresham, 46, of Apple Road, was life-flighted to a Macon hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. According to Trooper Brad Thompson of Georgia State Patrol Post 26 in Thomaston, the single-vehicle wreck occurred after Gresham passed a green Chevrolet S-10. When he pulled back over in front of the vehicle, he lost control, ran off the road, hit an embankment and the vehicle started spinning, ejecting him from the vehicle.
