Melvin Clifford Peugh

Melvin Clifford Peugh, age 83 of Milner, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Upson Regional Hospital.
Mr. Peugh was born Thomaston, Georgia on May 4, 1940. His parents, James Alton Peugh and Thelma Lucille Spraggins Blount, his wife, Roxie Williams Peugh, son, Kenny Green, granddaughter, Kendal Brianna-Lynn Harrell, sister, Brenda Brooks and husband, Roy, and sister-in-law, Christine Peugh all preceded him in death. Mr. Peugh retired after 23 years as SGT First Class from the United States Army National Guard, also from G & S Roofing. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, and former music director for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Peugh and wife, Michelle, Christopher Peugh, Jodie Harrell and husband, Brent; brother Terry Peugh; grandchildren, Joshua Peugh, Timothy Peugh and Fiancee Kayte Huff, Ryan Green, Megan Green, Kaden Harrell, and Kayla Harrell; great grandchildren, Zane Walton, Zion Walton, and Rebecca Perkins.
A visitation was held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home and on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church, 158 City Pond Rd., Barnesville followed by a funeral service in the sanctuary. Pastor Charles Johnson officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville with full military honors.
