Michael “Mike” Spence age 69, of Barnesville left this earth for an eternal home in glory on October 29, 2022. Mike was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia when he was four years old.
He was retired from Clayton County Board of Commissioners in the Community Development Department as an HVAC Inspector. He loved car shows, fixing up his home, and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ann Spence; brother-in-law, Donnie Hood, and a special nephew, Jeffrey Hood. He was the much loved brother of Pat Hood Betsill (Harold) and Kathi Hill (Tony). A special uncle to Brian Hood and Kimberly Higgins, and many great nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held with the family.
