Cold weather resulted in a major water line break that cost Milner at least 800,000 gallons of water earlier this month. City administrator Harold Wilson reported the loss at the Jan. 14 council meeting. This is in addition to some 943,000 gallons that went missing during December, a loss of 29.3%.
