The investigation into the Milner city council rolled into its third week Monday and those associated with the probe remain tight-lipped regarding the findings. The investigation, ordered by district attorney Jonathan Adams, was launched May 18. ‘Investigators continue to do interviews and gather evidence,’ Adams said Friday. Interviews are being done by one investigator from the LCSO and one GBI agent. ‘We have two people working on it who have no connection at all with Milner,’ sheriff Brad White said Monday. The GBI would release no details but one source there reported information could be forthcoming by the end of this week. Sheriff White agreed with that assessment.
