A Milner man was sentenced to five years in prison last week for possessing child pornography. Robert Leon Haralson, 44, of 482 McKenzie Road pleaded guilty on one count of sexual exploitation of children. He admitted possessing a digital image of a minor engaged in the lewd exhibition of genitalia. Judge Tommy Wilson added five years on probation to Haralson’s sentence. Haralson was originally indicted on 12 counts of sexual exploitation of children for possessing similar digital images. He also was indicted on one count of child molestation for allegedly placing his hand inside the bathing suit of a minor neighbor and fondling her genitals. Those counts were not prosecuted.
