During August the Milner police department worked 378 man hours and patrolled 3,576 miles. Officers investigated seven incidents and eight miscellaneous calls and performed 80 building security checks and six EMS assists. They issued 42 warnings and 79 citations including 54 speeding, one violation of drivers license restrictions, two driving without a license, three open container, three DUI, four seat belt violations, one window tint violation, one failure to maintain lane, one shoplifting, two expired tags, three defective equipment, one unregistered vehicle, one no insurance, one permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle and one violation of a special permit while driver’s license is suspended.
