Mr. Milton Roger English, age 79 of Milner, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Mr. English was born in Milner, Georgia on Sept. 30, 1935. He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy Milton English and Doris Mullins English; wife, Cornelia Pippin English; grandson, Ryan Lovick; brother, Larry English; sister, Josie English. Mr. English was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Ford Motor Company. Working with wood was his passion and he was a member of the UAW and NRA. Survivors include his children, Susan Thompson and husband, Wayne, Keith English and wife, Carrie; grandchildren, Brandon English, Brittany English, Marcus English, and Tara Lovick; brothers, Alton English and wife, Grace, Wayne English and wife, Esther; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Milton English will be on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00am at Rock Springs Church. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Mr. English will lie-in-state one hour prior to the funeral service.
