In honor of the 40 year anniversary of Barnesville’s annual Buggy Days festival, the Miss Buggy Days Pageant is seeking all past Miss Buggy Days title winners to be a part of this year’s festivities. Anyone who once received the admirable crown and title of Miss Buggy Days is invited to be recognized at the 2013 Miss Buggy Days Pageant on Sept. 14 and to be in the Buggy Days Parade on Sept. 21. If you or someone you know received the Miss Buggy Days title and would like to be a part of this 40 year celebration, contact the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce to be included in the plans. For those who wish to compete for this year’s titles, registration is open until Aug. 23. The registrations are online at buggydays. org and in the chamber office at 100 Commerce Place. The Barnesville Buggy Days pageant committee has narrowed the categories, making a total of 28 winners this year.
