The 2014 remembrance celebration for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is planned for Jan. 20, starting with Dr. Bill parade assembly at 9 a.m. at the E.P. Roberts Center on Mill Street.This year’s theme is ‘Keeping the Dream through the Dream of Reviving Our Youth.’Any group or organization wishing to participate in the parade tribute with a float, car or marchers is welcome, said organizer April Smith, EPRC director.The parade will march to the courthouse for a brief program on the courthouse steps. The speaker at the courthouse After marching back to the center, participants will hear a keynote address by Dr. Kimberly Gore. She is director of instructional programs at the Georgia Preparatory Academy of the Department of Juvenile Justice.Refreshments sponsored by the Dewaine T.
