The vision of Martin Luther King Jr. came to fruition this morning on the streets of Barnesville. Albeit a small parade, people gathered – rich, poor, white, black, young, and old – to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., culminating in a series of performances and speeches on the steps of the Court House. Once at the Lamar County Courthouse the audience was treated to a song by Mrs. Vivian Parker.
