Friday Night Movie’s in the Park will begin at sundown. This month’s feature film is Hachi: A Dog’s Tale. This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. The film is sponsored by the Barnesville-Lamar County Volunteer Fire Department, Travel World, and Open Box Over Stocks. Concessions will be available at the event and the sponsors will have some activities for the kid’s before the movie begins. Farmer’s Market: Don’t forget you can buy fresh fruit and veggies at the Famer’s Market every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 pm -6:30 pm in the First National Bank parking lot.
