UPDATE 2: The deceased victims of this crash have been identified as Julious Battle and his wife Laverne Battle, both of Forsyth. Their daughter survived. Monroe deputies are currently working a multiple fatality crash on I-75. Motorists are not being allowed onto the interstate from the southbound ramp at Johnstonville Road. There have been at least two deaths. UPDATE: Wreck is near Rumble Rd. exit near Smarr. Will Davis of the Monroe County Reporter is on the scene and reports two fatalities. Tractor trailer hit a Toyota SUV. Some victims may be from Monroe County. Traffic backed up for miles. Davis says the crash will take hours to clear. Avoid the area if at all possible.
