Mystery deaths not attributable to street drugs

Street drugs were not a factor in the deaths of four Lamar countians who died mysteriously over a four-day period in late October, according to GBI toxicology reports obtained by The Herald-Gazette. None of the four victims tested positive for cocaine, methamphetamine or marijuana. Fentanyl patches were a factor in two of the deaths, however.
