The National Day of Prayer will be observed locally on Thursday, May 2 at 12:10 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The 2019 them is ‘˜Love One Another”. The LCHS Chorus, led by Na’Toya Fletcher, will provide special music. The event is presented by the Lamar Christian Ministerial Association (LCMA) and many of its pastor members will have roles in the service. After the ceremony, lunch will be provided for a $1 donation to the LCMA fund. For more information, call the church office at 770-358-2353.
