The Lamar County Board of Education will hold a called meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. to name a new head football coach. Interviews were held all day Friday and the field narrowed down to two finalists, according to school superintendent Jute Wilson. The new coach will replace Jeff Sloan who stepped down in December. He remains at LCHS as assistant principal and athletic director.
