Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich ripped into President Barack Obama while speaking at a God and Country Rally at Rock Springs Church here Sunday night. Gingrich lambasted Obama for apologizing after copies of the Quran were burned at a U.S. military base in Afghanistan. Muslims killed four Americans during a violent uprising in the wake of the incident. ”When the men and women who serve under you are killed you don’t apologize to the enemy. This is disgraceful (and) exactly the wrong thing to do,” Gingrich argued. Gingrich hopes to take Georgia during Super Tuesday primary voting March 6.
