LCHS athletic director Calvin Scandrett reported Monday that no passes will be honored for Friday night’s playoff game pitting Lamar County against Swainsboro at Trojan Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and only credentialed media and those with GHSA passes will be admitted without a purchased ticket. You also need to plan to bundle up for the contest. The extended forecast calls for clear skies and a temperature of 36 degrees at kickoff. Temps will drop to near freezing by the time the game is over. Friday’s overnight low will be 28 degrees.
