The Board of Regents is expected to formally hire Dr. Nooks at its Feb. 13 meeting. ’I want to thank and commend the Gordon State campus search committee for its efforts and the role it played in this search process. Gordon would greatly benefit from Dr. Nooks’ leadership,’ chancellor Steve Wrigley of the university system said. ’I am honored to be considered for the role of president of Gordon State. I’m impressed with the students, faculty and staff I’ve met. I am excited about the opportunity to become a part of the GSC community,’ Dr. Nooks concluded.
