As expected, The Board of Regents voted Monday to officially hire Dr. Kirk Nooks as president of Gordon State College. Nooks will assume his new position on June 1, 2018. Nooks is currently president at Metropolitan Community College (MCC)-Longview in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Nooks was named the lone finalist for the job last week.
