Lamar County held at 453 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 20 deaths as of the Sunday case count update from DPH. Lamar is recorded as having 48 hospitalizations. Surrounding counties: Pike: 406 cases, 34 hospitalizations and 12 deaths. Upson: 854 cases, 99 hospitalizations and 70 deaths. Monroe: 803 cases, 89 hospitalizations and 55 deaths. Butts: 777 cases, 60 hospitalizations and 44 deaths. Spalding: 1700 cases, 216 hospitalizations and 66 deaths.
