By Walter GeigerA man who got extensive news coverage in metro Atlanta after he climbed onto the roof of a midtown Atlanta home, stripped and stayed there for over seven hours naked in the rain has been identified by Atlanta police as Jamorris Antron Cole.Cole, 32, lives at 304 Parker Branch Road in Lamar County and is no stranger to local law enforcement. He is a fixture at the local jail and on superior court dockets.Cole allegedly broke out the window of a car with a rock and broke into two residences, bleeding all over the floor at one, before climbing onto the roof and stripping off his clothes at about 5:15 a.m. He had previously tried to enter two other homes.Multiple agencies responded and inflatables were arranged around the home to protect Cole if he fell. He was eventually talked down off the roof by a SWAT team hostage negotiator who was atop a firetruck ladder. Those counts include multiple counts of possession and sale of illegal drugs, assaults, rape and several probation violations.
