Offenders sentenced in superior court

These offenders were sentenced by Judge Bill Fears in Lamar superior court in March. More cases, including that of alleged child pornographer John Raymond Scheu will be heard this week. Adrian McDowell, battery; failed to appear, bench warrant issued. Brian T. Thompson, theft by taking: community service, not prosecuted. Ryan M. Smith, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance: not prosecuted, sent to Teen Challenge. Tommy R. Thompson, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance: three years suspended sentence. Joseph Perkins, theft by taking: failed to appear, bench warrant issued. Cynthia Todd, first degree forgery and theft by deception: revoked five months probation. Joseph McCoy, VGCSA (cocaine) and suspended license: intensive probation. Cynthia Todd, VGCSA (meth): revoked five months probation. James Brooks, VGCSA (cocaine): revoked three months probation, intensive probation. Kellie Stokes, two counts theft by taking: revoked 90 days probation, $1,000 restitution. Jamie Evans, theft by taking: failed to appear, probation warrant issued. Darrien Bowles, terroristic threats: revoked three years probation. Paul Ellerby Jr., battery and criminal trespass: bond set at $2500. Marcus Williams, aggravated assault, criminal trespass, simple battery and robbery: bond set at $7500. Mark Wilson, theft by receiving stolen property: revoked three years, 10 months and nine days of probation. Ralph B. Clay, VGCSA (cocaine): revoked two years probation. Jennrice McDowell, two counts auto theft: $1000 restitution. Bruce Miller, drugs not in original container, tampering with evidence and failure to maintain lane: 210 days in jail. James Douglas Jr., VGCSA (marijuana): 60 days in jail.
