One man was seriously injured in a traffic accident this morning at the ever-dangerous intersection of Highway 41 north and the Highway 36 bypass. A gray, four-door sedan hit a guardrail which nearly ripped its top off. A medical evacuation helicopter was called to the scene for the driver, identified as 29-year-old Jarrod Trice of Milner, but his condition worsened rapidly and he was rushed to a Griffin hospital. He is now in critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center where he is expected to undergo surgery Saturday morning.. State troopers, Lamar deputies, BPD officers and local fire and emergency personnel were on the scene.
