One year after a devastating fire destroyed its sanctuary and ancillary facilities, Antioch Baptist Church is making tentative plans for a late summer grand opening of its rebuilt house of worship. Fire ripped through the church’s Yatesville Road complex on June 10, 2009. The church expects to open its new, 11,687-square foot facility in late August. Work is now about 60% complete.
