From Suzanne Cooper, Lamar County Sheriff’s Office: We still have opening in our CHAMPS Summer Camp for 5th and 6th graders. Dates of camps are June 2 – 6, June 23 – 27 and July 21 – 25. The camp is free of cost to Lamar County 5th and 6th graders. Will be held those dates which are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Applications are available at the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office, on our www.lamarcountysheriff.com website and at the Lamar County Courthouse at the Community Relations Office of Deputy Suzanne Cooper.
