Investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were called to Bankston Truss in Barnesville January 12 after a mechanic was found dead there.Tommy Johnson, 60, of 128 Crown Walk in McDonough was pronounced dead after being taken to a Griffin hospital.”It is a workplace incident so OSHA was called in but it appears the man died of natural causes,” sheriff Larry Waller reported from the scene.”There was nothing to indicate any injury. He had a history of heart problems and had nitroglycerin tablets in his pocket,” investigator Todd Pippin added.Bankston Truss is a division of Bankston Lumber. The dead man was working on a truck in an area behind the adjacent Tara Materials Building.
