Professional wrestling will come to the recreation department gym on Saturday, Sept. 12. Tickets will be available only at the door. General admission is $5 and ringside seats are $10. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and the bell will ring at 7:45 p.m. for the School’s In Session event. ’This is the first match in Barnesville since 1974, so we expect a sellout,’ said Georgia Old School Wrestling talent scout Joey Roberts of Barnesville. OSW is working with the Lamar County recreation department and Top Rope Entertainment to bring former WWE and other pro wrestlers to the event. Roberts himself, wrestling as Big Steel, will be part of a tag team match.
