Patsy Torbert Dunn

Mrs. Patsy Jane Torbert Dunn, age 71, of Barnesville passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in a Spalding County healthcare facility.A native of Barnesville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. James Mitchell Torbert and the late Mrs. Claudie Johnson Torbert. Mrs. Dunn retired as a seamstress for the William Carter Company and had also worked at Rose’s for some time. Mrs. Dunn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Penny Page of Culloden; three sons, Danny (and Sunday) Long of Barnesville, Jimmy Long of Barnesville and Jeff Taylor of Barnesville; one sister, Mary (and Dr. Harold) Latham of Barnesville; three grandchildren, Tiler Page, Alan Long and Joshua Long; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Long, Mackensie Long and Aubrey Long; and a number of cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Jane Torbert Dunn were conducted Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Newman officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
