Mr. Paul Ellerby, 67, formerly of 301 Railroad Street, transitioned on Friday March 18, 2016 in the Golden Living Center. Funeral services were held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Pastor David Blaylock officiated assisted by Rev. William Perdue and interment was in the O’Neal Cemetery. Trice Funeral Home Inc. of Barnesville was in charge of all professional services. Mr. Ellerby leaves to cherish his memory three children Mr. Paul (Dorlisa) Ellerby Jr. of Barnesville, Mrs. Bridget (Rev. Willie) Harris of Griffin, GA, and Ms. Andrea Wimbush of Atlanta. Four grandchildren also survive. Five Sisters; Mrs. Clotel (Walter) Geiger, Mrs. Carol (Jimmy) Caslin, Mrs. Flossie Kitty (Robert) Foster, Sandra (Harvey) McClendon all of Barnesville, and Mrs. Rachel (Ricky) Pryor of Statesboro. A sister-in-law, Ms. Josephine Reviere of Cleveland , Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends of the Lamar County Community whom all will miss him dearly.
